We also got an ace breakfast of Eggs Benedict which I could eat every other day. I can't remember the last time I had them but it's something that I always want but it seems to much effort to make. Perhaps I need to give it a go.
But all that was nothing in comparison to Thursday night. Ah The Boosh boys did not disappoint. They started the show with future sailors which rocked and then Noel greeted Brighton with his usual, Brighton you cheeky mules etc. Noel even ran about through the audience and I couldn't believe nobody touched him. It took all my strength not to run up to him and touch that wild hair of his. I couldn't believe how polite everyone was. I desperately wanted a photo of them onstage but Nik was adamant that he would not be breaking the rules of no photography. This is where Nik and I differ to the extreme. He obeys rules and I don't ..sometimes. I couldn't see the harm in having a crappy low quality photo of the Boosh on my mobile phone and I don't think they would have minded either. I hardly think Howard would have peshwari nann'ed me (you had to be there). Cue much pleading and begging for his beloved phone. I got this before the show.
And he declared that enough rule breaking. An hour later after much laughing and smiling, I decided to try again. Finally, after even more annoying of rule boy, I got his phone, only to end up taking pictures of black because I had it the wrong way around. Bleeding Barnacles! Maybe I shouldn't have had that glass of champagne before we left. Nik was exasperated by this stage so took one quick photo and here it is. Nanageddon, I think. I looked on youtube and some people were a lot braver. I found the chrimp they did which started off with our favourite and only chrimp we can do, soup.
I believe this took place just before some of the British public , Nik and myself included, rushed the stage and jumped around like loons. Loved it. I really want to see it again, preferably London, so if anyone has tickets or is planning on going-Please let me know! Ah almost forgot, the best bit for me was when Noel did his Kings of Leon impression. My favpurite comedian impersonating my favourite band. It's worth the ticket price for that bit alone. We came out of the event with huge smiles and I was so hyped up. I couldn't stop smiling. Having a sushi meal afterwards was a great wind down and we were the only ones in the place as it was so late. We had a night cap at the bar where we chatted to the bartender and another dude and finally headed to bed at 2am. This was fine of course as we didn't have to get up early, or so we thought. Little Digi wanted to ring us before pre school at 8:30am. Ouch. We decided to get up anyway and Nik surprised me by booking a facial with a back, neck, and shoulder massage. I left Brighton not wanting to leave Brighton. What a fantastic place. I'm a little sad I didn't get to experience going to Uni there like Nik did.
Good thing I had two little Boosh fans waiting at home. They kept telling us about how they saw the Mighty Boosh moon outside and they've learned the theme.
Whew. I'm booshed.

Is it kind of sad that the most impossible, inconceivable thing about such a trip for us would be finding someone to leave the sprogs with?
Fantabulous trip, I am glad you two got a chance to recharge and sprawl in abject luxury for a bit.
Also, thanks for getting "If you want to go to Brighton" back in my head.
yes, I am still buzzed. Why do you ask?
xx
